Meet Melissa
Melissa Cahoon is the founder and principal designer of Melissa Cahoon Interiors, a Seattle-based firm known for crafting refined, travel-informed spaces that marry timeless design with effortless livability.
With a background in boutique private practice dentistry and a lifelong love of aesthetics, Melissa’s transition into interior design came naturally—sparked by the full renovation of her family’s Madison Park home.
What began as a personal passion evolved into a thriving business rooted in layered textures, natural materials, and a classic European sensibility.

Her work is guided by a quiet luxury philosophy—balancing beauty, function, and warmth. Whether collaborating on a custom new build or furnishing a family home, Melissa helps clients move through the design process with clarity and confidence.

She draws inspiration from old-world craftsmanship, collected travel moments, and the rhythm of everyday family life in the Pacific Northwest—where she lives with her husband and two young children.
